Installation

1. Remove original drain plug and drain oil into an appropriate receptacle.
2. Insert the valve and gasket into the drain plug port and tighten. Do not over-tighten. (If the valve cannot be fully tightened without contacting the oil pan wall, do not install. Adapters are available for some models.)
3. Confirm valve is closed, then refill the crankcase.

Operation

1. To open: Lift the control lever and turn counter-clockwise 90°.
2. To close: Turn the lever clockwise 90° until locked.

Safety

• If you run over a foreign object, pull over and inspect the valve for damage or leaks.
• Not recommended for low-clearance passenger cars (consider the N-Series with nipple for hose attachment).
