Mechanical Products, Inc. was started by ex Cooper Bussmann personnel. When Buss shut down their USA facilities and moved production to Mexico, they let go most of their engineers and staff. Several of them got together to create Mechanical Products so the market would still have a US made product available at a reasonable price.
